Flood Mitigation, Tegucigalpa

Climate change is one of the biggest challenges of our time. It has far-reaching economic and social impacts that are already visible around the world today. It affects all economies, but the developing countries are much more at risk than industrialised and emerging economies that bear the main responsibility for climate change. A Project financed by German Bank KFW through the Tegucigalpa City Hall, executing the construction of 2.2 Km of multiple size ditches, in order to mitigate the floods in the area.
